Summary

Creator engine summary
Roster10 creators, two added a weekSix weeks from 0 to 10 creators. This is my ramp, and it can slow down if the first two creators miss.
WhoEveryday drinkers of canned kombuchaPeople who already shop the cold aisle, matched to Yuzu Ginger, Mango Delight or the Best Sellers Variety Pack.
Production7 videos per creator a week, 303 a monthCounted at 10 creators. Every video ties one hook to one flavor of the 12oz can.
PayFlat pay with a cap, $600 to $1,500Three bands: Starter, Standard, Premium. Caps are $600, $1,000 and $1,500.
Bonus$50 flat past 100,000 viewsOne bonus per creator per month, organic views only. Band bonuses at the cap: $300, $500, $700.
ComplianceCreators quote one claims sheetApproved lines are copied from the brand's own site wording. You confirm the open ones before anyone posts.
Category ruleAlcohol wording stays the brand's ownNever alcohol free. Creators say only that the brand monitors it to stay under 0.5%.
Goal$1 per 1,000 viewsMy target. At 10 creators the simulator reads $5.74 on my assumptions, so the gap is the work.
ReportEvery Monday, one pageViews by creator, cost per 1,000 views, best hook, hooks cut. You never have to ask.
DecisionApprove the claims sheet and two creatorsThose two decisions start the ramp. The other eight join two a week after that.

Track record

At Tabs I built the creator program to 100M monthly social impressions and ran the paid ad engine alongside it. This is the same playbook pointed at kombucha: recruit, brief, test one variable, kill losers early. I have not run this category, so every claim on the sheet comes from your site, not from me.

Why now

  • 5,000+

    Shelves are already there

The site lists 5,000+ retailers nationwide. Creators can film where the cans already sit, so a shelf video is realistic from the first week.

    Published
  • 320%

    Canned line is growing

A Better Booch headline reports 320% growth of the canned kombucha line while entering new Whole Foods regions. Cans are exactly what creators film.

    Published
  • 8 reviews

    Product pages show little proof

One product page shows 8 reviews, others show 1 or 3. Creator videos can add the proof a shopper does not find on the page yet.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator reads $5.74 on my assumptions, so the first job is closing that gap, not adding creators.

  2. One variable per test

Seven videos per creator a week, 303 a month at ten creators. Each video changes one thing: the hook, the flavor or the opening shot.

  3. Losers killed early

Weak hooks leave the rotation after the first Monday read. Winners on Yuzu Ginger or Mango Delight get new openings and more volume.

  4. Caps, not open checks

Flat pay capped at $600 to $1,500 per creator, with a $15,000 monthly ceiling at the top cap. Bonuses sit outside that ceiling.

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. Weekly botAppMon 8:00 AM

Weekly report is ready: views by creator, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, the best hook and the hooks cut.

  2. MayaMon 8:30 AM

This week: Mango Delight, one hook, kitchen counter shot. Quote only the claims sheet. First drafts are due Thursday.

  3. TheoMon 10:15 AM

Can I say the Mango Delight can is alcohol free? A follower asked in my comments.

No. Say only "Commercial kombucha like Better Booch is monitored to stay under 0.5%." Nothing more on alcohol.

  4. MayaWed 2:40 PM

Your Ginger Boost draft is sent back: the can only shows up on the fourth second. Put it in the first frame and reshoot.

  5. Weekly botAppThu 9:00 AM

Check: no draft yet for Hibiscus Healer. Drafts are due today by end of day, or the slot moves to next week.

  6. PriyaFri 6:05 PM

My Island Hopper video just passed 100,000 views. Should I post a follow-up with the same hook?

Yes. Same hook, new opening shot. The $50 bonus is logged, and it is one per creator per month.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. First sip reaction

    Brief 01

    First sip reaction

“I tried Yuzu Ginger so you don't have to guess.”

Handheld close-up, can cracked on camera, one take, natural light, face visible in the first second.

  2. Flavor ranking

    Brief 02

    Flavor ranking

“Ranking my cold case, and Blood Orange Passionfruit goes first.”

Three cans on a counter, rank them with your hand, one flavor per beat, say each product name aloud.

  3. Cold-shelf hunt

    Brief 03

    Cold-shelf hunt

“Found Mango Delight in the cold aisle, here's why I grabbed it.”

Shot in a store you actually shop. Show the shelf, the can and the price tag. Only stores you have verified.

  4. Cold package unboxing

    Brief 04

    Cold package unboxing

“It shipped cold, so I opened it right away.”

Doorstep to counter in one cut. Show the recyclable cold package, then pour. Say keep refrigerated on camera.

  5. Afternoon can

    Brief 05

    Afternoon can

“My three o'clock can is Ginger Boost.”

Desk or kitchen scene, can in hand, one line on taste only, no health talk. Under one minute, vertical.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Find Better Booch at 5,000+ retailers nationwide.”, “Naturally-occurring probiotics”, “Shipping is free for orders over $50 as well as all subscriptions.”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Buyers who already post

People who posted a 12-pack or tagged a can. I would ask you for the buyer posts you already know and start from that list.

  • Cold-aisle shoppers

Creators who film in stores that carry the cans. The site says 5,000+ retailers nationwide, so local fits are easy to find.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site. Recruiting starts from scratch, and the first two creators help set the terms.

  • Sparkling tea reviewers

Creators who already review flavored or sparkling drinks. The CHA Sparkling Tea line opens a second lane next to the kombucha.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Real drinker

Already buys canned kombucha or sparkling tea and says so on camera.

  2. 2Face and voice

Talks to camera in the first second, with clear audio in a kitchen.

  3. 3Clean claims record

No health promises in their recent drink or food videos.

  4. 4Local fit

Lives near a store that carries the line, so a shelf video is possible.

  5. 5Seven a week

Can post seven videos a week without repeating the same opening.

Part 7 of 15

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Better Booch is premium small craft kombucha that is brewed and canned in downtown Los Angeles.”

Intro line for any first video

  • “Find Better Booch at 5,000+ retailers nationwide.”

    Shelf and store videos

  • “Naturally-occurring probiotics”

Read from the label, never expanded

  • “Shipping is free for orders over $50 as well as all subscriptions.”

    Order and unboxing videos

  • “Commercial kombucha like Better Booch is monitored to stay under 0.5%.”

    Any answer about alcohol

  • “Product ships in an eco-friendly recyclable cold package. Please keep refrigerated.”

    Cold package unboxing videos

  • “our Best Sellers Variety Pack makes the perfect gift or intro to our flavor offerings.”

    Variety pack and gifting videos

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say it supports your gut health

A health outcome. Only the brand's own wording is allowed, and the brand does not word it this way.

  • Never say it helps you sleep better

A health outcome that is not in the brand's wording.

  • Never say it is completely alcohol free

Contradicts the brand's stated alcohol figure, which is a monitored limit.

  • Never say it is better than a named competitor

A comparison against a named brand. The brand's poll line is not ours to extend.

  • Never say it helps you lose weight

    A weight-loss promise, which is a medical-type claim.

  • Never say a doctor recommends it

An endorsement that does not exist in anything the brand published.

  • Never say it has no sugar

The can panel lists sugars, so this contradicts the label.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Over 93% of people polled choose Better Booch over other brands.

A study figure. Poll source and date are not on the page, so I need your approval before creators say it.

  • Better Taste. Better for You

Broad wording that touches health. Tell me whether creators may say it and how.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new creators on camera, one flavor lane, a low cap while we learn their hook rate.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: creators who hit the weekly seven and keep claims clean for a full month.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: creators whose organic videos lead the roster and who can carry a shelf video.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, no stacking across videos.
  • Per video: $50 flat for any video that passes 100,000 views.
  • Organic views only. Paid views never count toward the bonus.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

At 10 creators the simulator reads $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1.00 target. It closes if 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Part 14 of 15

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Pick the winner

A video earns a paid test only after it beats the roster median in organic views for a full week.

  2. Get written permission

The creator approves in writing that Better Booch may run the video as an ad. No permission, no ad.

  3. Change one thing

Run the winner with one variable changed: the hook, the opening shot or the flavor named.

  4. Kill losers early

Ads that miss the $1 target after the first read are stopped, and the budget moves to the next winner.

From the video to the checkout

  • Send shoppers to the 12-pack page: the Best Sellers Variety Pack is the intro to the flavors.
  • Name free shipping only as the site words it: free over $50 and on all subscriptions.
  • Point store-minded viewers to the store finder; the site says thousands of locations across the country.
  • Name a store only after the creator has seen the can on its shelf.
  • Use the Gift Card link for gift-themed videos.

Part 15 of 15

Kombucha rules

Kombucha rules creators follow

Kombucha is a food and drink category. Creators talk taste, flavor and the can. The brand's own wording covers the rest.

  • Use only the claims sheet

Quote approved lines word for word. No health outcomes, no medical talk, no study figures. Health wording stays the brand's own and is attributed to the brand.

  • Alcohol wording

Say only that the brand monitors it to stay under 0.5%. Never say alcohol free, and never answer a follower's alcohol question with your own words.

  • Sugar and nutrition

The can panel lists sugars, so never say low sugar or no sugar. If you show the label, show all of it.

  • Keep it refrigerated

Say keep refrigerated when you unbox. The brand ships a cold package, so do not leave cans warm on camera for long.

  • Disclose the partnership

Every video says it is paid or gifted, in the caption and spoken once. Use the platform's branded content tool where it exists.

  • Price and offers

Quote price only as the site shows it, such as $43.00 for a 12-pack and free shipping over $50. Ask before mentioning any code or discount.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
